TBILISI, Georgia (AFP)--Georgian forces Monday resumed shelling of residential areas in South Ossetia, a spokeswoman for the rebel government was quoted as saying by Russia's Interfax news agency.
"At 3:30 pm (1130 GMT), Georgian forces resumed massive shelling from various types of weaponry, including heavy weaponry, of residential areas in South Ossetia," spokeswoman Irina Gagloyeva was quoted as saying.
